Every participating Website must first undergo the scrutiny of our research team and adopt stated standards of practice. We safeguard against:
- Shell or false-front Web businesses
- Spammers and Scammers
- Unscrupulous sales practices
- Undisclosed violations of trust regarding personal privacy
- Out-and-out fraud
- Shaky customer services practices
- Overt security flaws
We review the identity of a real person whom we can contact for cases when there is a legitimate suspicion of fraud. And obviously, we attempt to quickly weed out any "bad apples."
Internet Safe List does not provide an absolute guarantee that all transactions will turn out exactly the way a customer hopes but your risk of getting swindled is profoundly reduced.
